This position will be in our Avionics Integration Organization.This candidate will be the technical lead and primary interface for the Ground Control software supporting deficiency investigations, development, integration, testing, and sustainment artifacts for updates to the system with a major hardware and software integration supplier for the Foreign Military sales (FMS) Mission Systems Integrated Product Team (IPT). This position requires excellent communication skills to manage the Ground Control hardware and software updates and ensure all design, development, and artifacts are correct.Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Coordinate the efforts of the software supplier for multiple software programs and efforts and seeing projects through from start to finish.Coordinate with the subcontracts management team, systems engineering, supplier quality assurance representatives, safety engineers, cyber team, test team, logistics engineers, cost account manager, and scheduler.Monitor and advise on critical dependencies intercedences for Ground segment and implementation integrationCoordinate and manage the execution of all phases of software performance, including planning, new capability development, testing, deliveries, deployment, and sustainment.Review supplier and hardware and software product documentationReport hardware upgrades and software supplier status to upper managementThe selected candidate should thrive working in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, engaged in significantly diverse assignments, within a collaborative/team setting across all levels of the organization.Once in the role, this position could offer a hybrid work environment.
Scheduled telework days are approved at manager's discretion.
This position requires the ability to travel up to 25% of the time.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 8 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline with 3 years of related engineering experience.Demonstrated experience with hardware and software integrationActive in-scope, DoD Secret clearance.Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP).
This SAP must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.Preferred Qualifications:Experience managing hardware and Software related issues with a supplier-based interaction as part of a Government/DOD contractFamiliarity with full hardware integration and Software Development Life CyclesExperience with software and f development, integration, and testing to include Agile, JIRA, Confluence programsExperience with programming and scripting languages is required but other associated skills can workExperience with government acquisition related to hardware and software development and sustainment activitiesFamiliarity with Prime and supplier hardware and software proposal development including technical evaluations of supplier proposals.CAM/EV experience is beneficialSalary Range: $133,000.00 - $199,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
