Responsibilities
- Under broad supervision, applies functional requirements and uses engineering tools to design test system for electronic circuits or systems.
- Under broad supervision, uses software tools or applications to analyze and conduct tests on electronic circuits or systems and document performance in comparison with design criteria.
- Scope of work includes as hands-on testing of actual electronics
- Documentation of work in adherence to the Halliburton standard process
- Works effectively as a team member by communicating clearly and efficiently.
- Takes the initiative to go beyond what situations require and focuses on attention to detail by making sure that work is done correctly, completely, and to the highest standards.
Requirements
- Skills are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline, and 4 years of related experience. Completion of a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline is preferred.
- Good personal, professional, team work and communication (both written and oral) skills are required.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, selecting and using appropriate debugging tools.
- Good understanding of digital, analog, and power circuits.
- Good understanding of schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experienced in using test equipment to test functionality of product and for circuit analysis/troubleshooting
- Familiar with basic test equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, DMM, E-load, signal generators, temperature chamber)
- Experienced in preparation of Functional Test Report, Qualification Test Report and Deliverables required delivering product to customer.
- Basic knowledge of test automation using programming languages like C, C++, Python.
- Familiar with circuit simulation.
- Exhibit strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
