About the Job
The Sr Power BI Architect is highly skilled data analytics professional with experience in reporting, warehousing, database design, and business intelligence. The position will have a strong understanding of frameworks to enhance business intelligence capabilities. This position is responsible for implementing best practices, implementing the IT Enterprise Data Management’s business intelligence infrastructure, and collaborating with business stakeholders in BI solutions. This is a high-pressure environment. Pay range for the role is $115,000 to $125,000, with an annual bonus. The role is hybrid out of our Coral Gables, FL office.
Responsibilities:- Implement the end-to-end Power BI infrastructure including intake, release pipeline, data migrations, business delivery
- Dashboard development, database testing, warehouse documentation, and collaborating with business stakeholders
- Be involved in the analytics infrastructure including discussions regarding database solutions, including designing schemas, complex queries, and ensuring data integrity
- Lead Power BI Developers in ensuring best practices are followed, solutions, and tracking project progress
- Demonstrate proficiency in data warehousing, including the implementation of reconciliation and validation frameworks
- Advanced experience in reviewing and trouble-shooting complex issues and designs
- Understand and analyze requirements and develop, deploy, and configure data warehouse processes with a focus on optimization and efficiency
- Perform ad hoc data quality checks and manual fixes on pipeline data to support data quality management and issue remediation processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and negotiation for mutually beneficial solutions
- Integrate data from various sources to support documented business requirements
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a seasoned Data Analyst.
- Expertise in Power BI development.
- Experience with databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks
- Familiarity with data warehouse development, including the implementation of reconciliation and validation frameworks.
- Experience in data profiling, statistical analysis, data analysis, and data standardization / cleansing techniques
- Understanding of version control systems
- High energy, self-motivation, attention to detail, creativity, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure
