Position Summary: Seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Power Automate Developer to join our IT Software Development Services (ITSS) team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining applications using the Power Platform suite, including PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI. This role requires advanced technical skills, exceptional collaboration abilities, and a strong understanding of integration and documentation processes. The Senior Power Automate Developer will lead efforts in developing custom applications, automating processes, and providing technical support and training to ensure seamless adoption and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design applications within SharePoint and Power Apps, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and user needs.
Develop, test, and maintain custom applications using PowerApps Studio and other Power Platform tools, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Engage with stakeholders to gather and understand application requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications.
Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure they meet quality standards and perform as expected, implementing enhancements and updates as necessary.
Regularly update Azure DevOps with progress on requirements, user stories, use cases, and tasks, ensuring transparency and efficient project tracking.
Leverage PowerApps Studio, Power Automate, Power BI, Azure DevOps, Microsoft SQL Server, and PowerShell to develop and manage applications, automations, and data integrations.
Continuously develop additional skillsets to keep pace with new tools and technologies introduced in the environment, ensuring the team’s technical capabilities remain current.
Collaborate with SharePoint Administrators, Architects, and PMO teams to develop integration plans or proofs of concept, detailing the approach, timelines, and dependencies for seamless integration of Power Platform solutions.
Maintain detailed documentation of application development processes, configurations, and changes, ensuring all relevant details are captured and easily accessible.
Document SharePoint configurations and application-specific details to ensure clarity and ease of maintenance.
Provide technical guidance and support to end-users, assisting with troubleshooting application-related issues to ensure timely resolution and minimal disruption.
Create and maintain user documentation and training materials for developed applications, facilitating end-user adoption and effective use of new technologies.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining applications using Power Platform tools, including PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Extensive experience with Azure DevOps, Microsoft SQL Server, and PowerShell.
Strong understanding of SharePoint integration and development.
Demonstrated ability to design, develop, test, and maintain custom applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Completion of relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform Developer) is highly desired.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Compensation and Benefits
The projected compensation range for this position is $75,706 to $139,760 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
