About the Job
MAG Aerospace is hiring for a Senior Policy Analyst with current SECRET clearance for The Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Joint Program Office (JPO) in Arlington, VA.
This position will support the program and project management including drafting, development, and coordination and preparation of program/project status and schedules.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provides feasibility analysis, logistics planning, requirements, determination, cost consideration, implementation of efficiencies, policy standards/procedures development, long-term reliability and maintainability, and asset management
- Draft, update, and maintain methods for the establishment of overall USAF, USN, USMC Uniformed Services and USAF and USN Civil Services administrative policy, procedures, and practices within the F-35 JPO
- Communicate and coordinate across the JPO’s program management offices and functional offices
Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, included in the ten (10) years, there must be at least four (4) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis; and included in the four (4) years, there must be two (2) years professional experience in technical efforts supporting major weapon systems and components development
- Experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline
- Demonstrated experience in the program/project status and schedules
- Demonstrated knowledge of Military Departments and Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) policy and documentation related to Planning Programming Budgeting and Execution (PPBE), life cycle management of military acquisition programs (as specified in the DoD 5000 series)
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience dealing with DoD reporting tools and major reports
Education:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
Clearance:
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Requirements:
- Strong problem identification/resolution skills, flexibility, initiative, and a proven ability to work with Senior Executives efficiently and effectively
- Demonstrated knowledge of the F-35 JPO Program and organization
