Job Description:

At CoBank, you will be part of an innovative tech environment and meet real farm credit customer needs. We are seeking Salesforce Platform Engineers who are passionate about marrying data with emerging technologies. The Salesforce Platform Engineers will work closely with Agile teams to create, test, and maintain technical solutions using full-stack development tools, with a specific emphasis on Salesforce, demonstrating thorough experience with Service Cloud, automation, and configuration on the Salesforce Platform. Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community.
Essential Functions:1. Responsible for the day-to-day support, management and maintenance of the Salesforce platform. Provides support for the design, planning, and testing of platform capabilities.
2. Develops and maintains automated business processes using Salesforce tools such as Flow.
3. Manages Salesforce users, profiles, roles, permissions, and security settings to ensure proper access and data integrity.
4. Ensures data integrity by performing regular audits and maintaining high standards of data quality.
5. Resolves production issues and engages IT and vendors as necessary. Initiates root cause analysis of application issues and supports resolution by coordinating with the vendor, internal IT and users as appropriate.
6. Develops and maintains reports, dashboards, and workflows to support business processes and decision-making.
7. Keeps detailed documentation of system configurations, customizations, and processes for ongoing reference and knowledge sharing.
8. Utilizes coding languages like JavaScript (Angular, React, Node), HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL and Java, Salesforce development with Apex, Native, VisualForce, Lightning framework, SOQL, REST & SOAP APIs, and RESTful web services.
9. Demonstrates advanced understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD pipelines and tools.
10. Provides workday and after-hours production support, including troubleshooting, problem correction, testing, and promotion to the production environment.
11. Demonstrates knowledge of version control systems like Git as well as the ability to manage code repositories, branching strategies, and code review processes effectively.
12. Demonstrates ability to learn and implement new technologies by analyzing technical specifications, build and configure supporting infrastructure, and implementing security best practices.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science preferred
5 years of experience in Salesforce Software Engineering required
2 years of experience in Agile practices required
2 years of experience integrating with other platforms required
1 year of experience with Rest API development required

The typical base pay range for this role is between $105,223 - $146,312. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
