Additionally, you will help with the design and implementation of the platform. You will be on a team that is responsible for development and operational environments consisting of a mix of servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware. These environments provide the enterprise hybrid-cloud backbone for product development and testing for a large program producing a critical, strategic national asset.*NOTE: This position will be onsite in the RTX Facility in Aurora CO.**What You Will Do:** Support transitioning a system that is tightly coupled to the underlying infrastructure to a modern platform infrastructure* Convert strategy and strategic initiatives into well-developed plans and objectives over different time frames captured a backlog of features and stories* Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and DevOps teams to design and implement development and mission solutions* Assist with architecture, design, development, integration, and support of build, integration & test, and deployment pipelines, optimizing for performance and scalability across on-premise VMware computing environments* Leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to improve scalability, consistency, infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration management* Ensure security and compliance are integrated into the platform* Provide operational support for the platform*Qualifications You Must Have:** A current transferable TS/SCI / CI Poly issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance* Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5+ years of related work experience* Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe)* Experience designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services* Experience with containerization using technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker* Experience with programming/automation/scripting languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go)*Qualifications We Prefer:** Able to break down complex ideas into easy-to-understand tasking* Experience with troubleshooting applications & infrastructure services on Linux based Operating Systems* Great communication and interpersonal skills to successfully work with various teams* Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe)* Experience with VMware* Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Gitlab)* Experience with automation frameworks such as Chef, Puppet, and Ansible* Knowledge of secure coding practices such as OWASP, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation* Experience with scanning tools (E.g. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
