These environments provide the enterprise hybrid-cloud backbone for product development and testing for a large program producing a critical, strategic national asset. This will include a mixture of hands-on keyboard engineering work as well as documentation and baseline control.*NOTE: This position will be onsite in the RTX Facility in Aurora CO.**What You Will Do:** Write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in support of transitioning a system that is tightly coupled to the underlying infrastructure to a modern platform infrastructure* Optimize implementation for performance and scalability across on-premise VMware computing environments* Leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to improve scalability, consistency, infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration management* Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and DevOps teams to design and implement development and mission solutions* Integrate security and compliance into the platform with services such as encryption and access management* Provide operational support for the platform*Qualifications You Must Have:** A current transferable TS/SCI / CI Poly issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance* Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 5+ years of related work experience* Experience designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services using infrastructure as code (IaC)* Experience with containerization using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker* Experience with programming/scripting languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go)*Qualifications We Prefer:** Ability to obtain a Counterintelligence (CI) poly for purposes of Privilege User Access* Administrative fluency with the following (or vendor equivalent):  Linux and VMWare solutions* Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe)* Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Gitlab)* Experience with automation frameworks such as Chef, Puppet, and Ansible* Knowledge of secure coding practices such as OWASP, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation* Experience with scanning tools (E.g. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
