Leading Activewear Brand is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Photo Editor/Retoucher to join our team and play a key role in maintaining the visual excellence of our brand.
Job Description:
The Senior Photo Editor/Retoucher will oversee and execute the post-production process for a wide range of visual assets, including Ecommerce, Ghost Form, Still Life, and Editorial Photography. This role requires exceptional technical skills, creative vision, and the ability to provide clear and actionable feedback to a team of post-production professionals. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the Creative Director to ensure all visual outputs align with brand standards and project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Photo Selection: Review and curate image selects from photography shoots, ensuring consistency with brand aesthetics and project requirements.
- Retouching Oversight: Provide detailed retouching notes and approve final retouched images for Ecommerce, Ghost Form, Still Life, and Editorial Photography.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Creative Director to incorporate feedback and refine visual outputs.
- Team Leadership: Direct and provide guidance to the post-production team, ensuring quality, efficiency, and alignment with project goals.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards for all visual assets, conducting final reviews to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices for the post-production workflow, optimizing for efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in photo editing and retouching, preferably in a senior role within the fashion, lifestyle, or ecommerce industries.
- Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other industry-standard retouching tools.
- Artistic Vision: Strong understanding of composition, color grading, lighting, and other photographic principles.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and constructive feedback.
- Collaboration: Proven experience working with creative directors and cross-functional teams.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for visual consistency and quality.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
