As a Senior People Analytics Consultant supporting Alcon's global HR functionyou will be trusted to act as the global functional technical specialist for the most complex and confidential HR data issues, applying advanced analytic tools and models to perform sophisticated customer-level analyses based on data from HR and internal systems to empower senior HR and business leaders to make optimized decisions affecting people decisions and processes. This individual will create meaningful outputs to advise global leaders on complex analyses and serve as a primary subject matter expert for data enablement, models, and solutions in Fort Worth, TX. In this role, you will:
- Act as internal consultant providing expert technical, system, and statistical guidance to management and/or clients regarding workforce analysis and development projects.
- Analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy improvements to systems, data, technologies, and processes to improve the overall accuracy and efficiency; serve as subject matter expert for various developments analyses of data reports and dashboards using Workday, Alteryx, AWS, Tableau, and custom Excel formats.
- Work with Employee Experience Team in HR, global business, and HR Business Partners to understand requirements and potential uses for predictive and descriptive analysis models; identify the underlying question behind a request and make a recommendation for how to deliver true insights.
- Develop predictive models for attrition, performance, and recruiting demand. Identifies statistical analysis techniques required to deliver insights.
- Interpret data to identify significant differences, relationships, and trends in data, as well as factors that could affect the results of research.
- Leverage reporting skills to perform data mining activities including requirements analysis, data quality assessment, data profiling, design, and the development and maintenance of analytic data sets.
- Design and deliver end-user training and training materials as needed, providing technical and data support as necessary supporting analytics platforms.
- Manage and maintain day-to-day analysis and execution of various projects and ad-hoc requests in a timely manner to clients.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs;Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+0 yrs)
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
- 5 Years of Relevant Experience in an Analytics field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HR Analytics/People Analytics strongly preferred.
- Experience with analytical consulting.
- Experience building dashboards or other self-service analytics platforms for HR stakeholders.
- Expertise with SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, or related tools
