About the Job
- Process and manage bi-weekly/monthly payroll for all employees, including salaried, hourly, and contract workers
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll taxes and other deductions
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rates
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management
- Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations
- Provide guidance and support to junior payroll staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
