*Pay Range: $62,000 - $95,000 USD annually
Position Summary:
Company3/Method Studios (CO3/Method) is a global leader in media and entertainment services for film, video and online content. This position will support the Senior Payroll Manager within our US payroll department. This will include observing the organizations’ payroll principles, practices and procedures in a timely and accurate manner.
Main Duties:
The Senior Payroll Specialist will process regular and supplement biweekly payroll for all employee groups. They will perform complex payroll calculations. They will gather and verify information from departments for proper processing of payroll transactions. They will Compile, analyze, calculate and audit information from all relevant forms. They will create, audit, correct and balance payroll and produce a variety of reports. They will validate raw timesheet data into payroll data. They will develop and maintain complex payroll spreadsheets. They will compile reports for Finance/Treasury and support biweekly reconciliation process. Other duties include:
What You Bring:
The ideal candidate will bring previous experience in multi-state payroll processing with a strong working knowledge federal, state, and local tax withholding regulations. They will bring full cycle payroll processing experience. They will have experience with multi-platform payroll, timekeeping and HR systems. They will have an ability to work under time constraints to ensure deadlines are met. They will have an ability to work independently and handle tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Analyze payroll system calculations for accuracy.
- Responds to employee verifications from various external agencies for detailed information on pay rates and wages paid.
- Support internal/external audit requests including investigating any discrepancies related to time and/or payroll calculations.
- Support Year End Procedures including the issuing of year-end tax documents and annual remittance reconciliation.
- Calculate, verify and process deductions.
- Disburse payments in accordance with established timelines.
- Determine the appropriate amount for voluntary and involuntary deductions.
- Process adjustments, code and enter information into the payroll system.
- Oversee and balance vacation banks in the payroll system or in the absence management system as needed.
- Research and calculate historical edits in Timekeeping system.
- Research and apply corrective action as needed, including salary adjustments for retroactive pay & retirement purposes.
- Adherence to state/provincial employment standards.
- Occasional back up for Payroll Associate.
- All other job-related duties as assigned.
What You Bring:

- Experience with UKG Pro, UKG WFM/Dimensions, Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Experience in US benefits administration.
- Ability to review one’s work and others work based on SOP and Best Practice criteria.
- Create and maintain written SOP and Best Practices.
- Experience with Year End processing.
- Effective time management, organization skills and extreme attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft-based applications (i.e., Teams, SharePoint).
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Table).
- Fast learner with the ability to grasp and implement new processes.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse workforce.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Certified Payroll Professional certification (with APA).
