Senior Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for the completion of set processes and protocols. Works cooperatively with all members of the care team to support the vision and mission of the organization, deliver excellent customer service and adhere to Lean processes. Supports the teams in meeting financial, clinical and service goals.

Hours: This position is full-time (40 hours/week). Monday through Friday, an 8-hour shift between the hours of 6:00 am to 6:00pm. The supervisor will determine the schedule.  May be asked to float to other offices\locations as needed.

Location: 58 North Pecos Road, Henderson, NV 89074

Primary Responsibilities:

• Communicating with the back office and providers on issues with patients

• Communicate with team effectively on new protocols and processes

• Communicate with the management team on events coming up

• Managing front office staff

• Managing 2 to 3 provider’s schedules.

• Go through weekly schedules for productive days

• Leading team huddles

• Guiding team members on how to lead the team huddles

• Work directly with the providers with any issues or changes in the schedules

• Help de-escalate high stress situations with patients

• All front office duties: check in and check out

• Complete daily deposits

• Oversee the supply orders

• Training new employees

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher) 

• BLS certified (or able to obtain certification within 30 days of hire)

• 2+ years of medical front office experience

• 1 + years experience of knowledge with copay’s, deductibles and co insurances

• 1 + years experience of knowledge of Nevada health insurance

• Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cash handling experience

• Knowledge/understanding of CPT/ICD-10 coding

• Knowledge of medical terminology

• Bilingual in Spanish/English

Soft Skills:

• Ability to multi-task 

• Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette  

Nevada Residents Only: The hourly range for Nevada residents is $18.80 to $36.78 per hour.
