Description
The position of Senior Operations Manager reports directly to the Regional Director and is responsible for successfully achieving the annual operating plan for the City of Hartford by successfully managing existing client relationships, on-street enforcement and parking lot performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including client, vendors, service providers, union and suppliers
- Supervise entire parking operation including on-street enforcement, off-street parking lots, event parking and office personnel
- Supervise Office Staff and Cashiers on a daily basis which includes, schedules, evaluations, discipline, performance, etc. Work with the On-Street Manager on supervision of Parking Ambassadors.
- Involved in the recruitment and hiring of all staff, approximately 20 employees. Primary focus of the General Manager is Office Staff and will work with the On-Street Manager for Parking Ambassador recruitment and hiring.
- Monitor and implement employee training programs with the assistant of Reimagined Learning, HR and On-Street Manager.
- Supervise the On-Street Manager and on-street parking programs (i.e. RPP). · Leverage field staff to prepare and process purchase orders and ensure adequate inventories for all operational supplies
- Work with Corporate Accounting to submit the monthly invoice (HPA Statement) accurately and timely every month
- Interface with accounting department personnel to enforce accurate, timely revenue reporting and tax payments
- Monthly Parker management for off-street parking facilities, which includes invoicing, processing new parkers and cancelling accounts. This also includes invoicing and communicating with the Hartford Yard Goats management and accounting team.
- Track and report on financial performance.
- Respond to customer/citizen complaints and concerns
- Establish client requirements for the operation the on-street enforcement program and of the parking lots, design programs to achieve the requirements, implement them through the operations team, report on results, change/amend as necessary.
- Determine objectives – service emphasis, net revenue emphasis, or blend of both
- Design initiatives to achieve stated client objectives
- Amend/enhance the programs as necessary to meet evolving client demands
- Attend all board meetings
- Responsible for updating and maintaining entries for all internal corporate reporting (i.e. RMS)
- Responsible for setting and achieving financial targets in connection with Reimagined Parking’s Annual Operating Plan
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Strong analytical skills with an ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Must have the ability to speak, read and write English (ability to speak Spanish preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of parking operations and procedures is preferred
- Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures
- Skilled in staff supervision, including assigning work and providing training and discipline
- Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance
- Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process including drug screen and background investigation
- Experience in account management and revenue collection
- Valid Driver's License
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
