Senior Oracle Fusion Developer
Position Description
CGI is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Developer with expertise in Oracle Fusion to support the design, development, and customization of ERP solutions within the public sector in Trenton NJ. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle Fusion's technical architecture and tools, enabling them to build and enhance custom applications, integrations, and reports tailored to meet public sector business requirements. This role involves collaborating closely with functional teams, business analysts, and external vendors to deliver scalable and efficient solutions that drive process improvement and compliance with government regulations. Experience in migration from legacy systems to Oracle Fusion is highly desired.
This is a hybrid opportunity based at our client site in Trenton, NJ.
Your future duties and responsibilities
• This candidate will be required to closely work with the Business and Functional Analyst and should have the ability to coordinate, interact and work with different teams for the delivery of the solution.
• Communicate with leadership and develop innovative and creative for solutions for challenging client needs
• Collaborate well with project management and department management teams
• Build custom reports, interfaces and integrations using Fusion Technology Stack different teams for the delivery of the solution
• Testing and documenting all code changes. This includes unit testing, component integration testing, system integration testing, performance testing, capacity testing and quality reviews
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, especially around Oracle integration programs
• Liaise with Oracle on the production issues and product bugs
• Develop Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and BI Publisher reports
• Manage Oracle Fusion test environments (development, staging, UAT) by automating refreshes and ensuring GDPR/SOX-compliant data privacy
• Implement PCI DSS standards for secure payment processing, including security controls, data masking, and multi-factor authentication
• Deploy Oracle Document Recognition in Accounts Payable, automating invoice recognition and PO matching and implement Break Glass procedures for emergency access
• Design and integrate chatbots using Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA), leverage NLP for user interaction and using Oracle Analytics Cloud to monitor performance
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Overall 5-7 years of experience in design, development, implementation and support of various versions of Oracle Fusion cloud and EBS
• Expert in migration of CEMLIs to various environments in Fusion Cloud using manual as well as automation processes
• Expert knowledge to develop REST/SOAP APIs
• Knowledge of SOX, PCI, GDPR compliance, and security best practices
• Proficient in integrating Oracle Cloud with third-party systems and developing dashboards in Oracle Analytics Cloud
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent knowledge of CEMLI
• Experience with Public sector clients.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
