Salary: $61,000-$67,000 commensurate with experience

Hunger Free Oklahoma is seeking a mission driven Senior Operations Specialist with experience working on large projects, strong analytical skills, and a customer service focus.
WHO WE ARE
Hunger Free Oklahoma is a statewide nonprofit established to leverage the power of collaboration to solve hunger in Oklahoma by improving systems, policies, and practices, facilitating public/private partnerships, and providing backbone support to existing organizations addressing hunger.
The Double Up Oklahoma (DUO) Program matches SNAP spent at participating grocery stores and farmers markets $1 for $1 for fruits and vegetables to improve the food security, dietary quality, and health of low-income Oklahomans. Over the past 3 years, DUO has provided over $7 million in free fruits and vegetables to SNAP participants in Oklahoma.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Senior Operations Specialist will report to the Program Director for Double Up Oklahoma and be based in Tulsa or Oklahoma City. The role will evolve over time but the core responsibilities for this position include:
- Strategy and Stakeholder Management – Maintain positive working relationships with outside stakeholders as well as Hunger Free Oklahoma staff to assess and understand the DUO program to develop solutions and procedures to meet goals, requirements, and deadlines.
- Data Reporting – Coordinate with data team to manage and organize Hunger Free Oklahoma’s monthly, quarterly, and annual Double Up Oklahoma reporting process with a high level of accuracy and timeliness. Consult with data team to make data-driven decisions. Assist in review and approval of firm report submissions when needed.
- Project Management and Process Improvement – Maintain DUO project management tools and documentation, evaluate and refine processes, manage continuous learning and improvement initiatives, and project manage DUO events.
- DUO Administration – Manage and implement firm contract and vendor agreements, respond to DUO inquiries, manage firm budgeting and data trackers in partnership with data analyst, maintain DUO material inventory and fulfill order requests, and maintain operational documents, program procedures, and reports.
- Program Support – Provide support to program team and data team, as needed, to enhance program efficacy and efficiency and enhance Hunger Free Oklahoma’s ability to achieve its mission. Represent DUO and Hunger Free Oklahoma at events as needed.
WHO YOU ARE
To qualify for this job, you will have a:
- High school diploma or equivalent and have 8 or more years of relevant experience; OR 8 years in a combination of post-secondary education or training and relevant work experience
- Background in operations, project management, finance, grant management, or administration
- Experience working with data, Salesforce, Office 365 (strongly preferred)
- Experience working with grocery retail systems or other complex information systems (preferred)

Knowledge/experience in the field of food security and/or nutrition incentives is a plus but not required.

This position is full-time and based in Tulsa or Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role requires the ability to independently travel to sites across Oklahoma (about 1 day/month) and may require occasional evening and weekend work to support events and programming. This position requires the ability to perform medium physical effort consisting of occasionally handling, lifting, or moving objects 20-30 pounds for handling resources and supplies, and to sit or stand to complete office-oriented work up to 8 hours a day.
