Creative Concrete, a trailblazer in innovative concrete solutions, is seeking a results-driven and experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead our operations team. This role is integral to ensuring our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with the highest quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete construction - both on the field and in the office, strategic leadership abilities, and a proven track record of fostering client relationships and driving organizational success.

Who we are: 

• Operational Leadership
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, project execution, and financial management under the executive team's guidance.
  • Lead and manage, showcasing deep expertise in the concrete construction industry both on the field and in the office.
• Client and Business Development
  • Cultivate and expand relationships with developers, general contractors, architects, engineers, and community leaders.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.\
  • Get directly involved in sales activity in collaboration with project managers, concrete experts, and bid specialists by identifying and nurturing leads to close deals.
• People Development and Team Building
  • Recruit and mentor key staff, ensuring alignment with the company's values and goals.
  • Create and manage the organizational structure and staffing plan for the operations team.
  • Oversee administrative and support functions ranging from bookkeeping and HR to any backoffice functions supporting onboarding and collaboration.
• Project Management and Safety
  • Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of concrete projects.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, management, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project objectives.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and company policies.
• Financial Oversight
  • Manage profit and loss (P&L) by forecasting revenues, monitoring cash flow, and identifying financial risks.
  • Develop and maintain revenue and income projections while managing general and administrative expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, in particular reporting on spend tied to different categories with analysis and action on improving operations.
• Contract and Risk Management
  • Review, negotiate, and finalize contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
  • Identify and mitigate financial and legal risks effectively.
• Performance Monitoring
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs), evaluate trends, and implement improvements.
  • Develop feedback loops to ensure the continuous sharing of information and best practices.

• Experience: Minimum of 7+ years in construction or management services, with a focus on concrete operations, including significant field experience to ensure practical knowledge and hands-on expertise (Required)
• Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge: In-depth familiarity with the Texas market and established relationships with developers, designers, and subcontractors.
• Education: Degree in construction management or a related field is preferred but not required.
