Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operational Leadership
- Oversee day-to-day operations, project execution, and financial management under the executive team's guidance.
- Act as a leader and manager, showcasing deep expertise in the concrete construction industry.
- Client and Business Development
- Cultivate and expand relationships with developers, general contractors, architects, engineers, and community leaders.
- Address client inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the business development team to identify and pursue growth opportunities.
- People Development and Team Building
- Recruit and mentor key staff, ensuring alignment with the company's values and goals.
- Create and manage the organizational structure and staffing plan for the operations team.
- Oversee administrative and support functions, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Project Management and Safety
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of concrete projects.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, management, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project objectives.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and company policies.
- Financial Oversight
- Manage profit and loss (P&L) by forecasting revenues, monitoring cash flow, and identifying financial risks.
- Develop and maintain revenue and income projections while managing general and administrative expenses.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Contract and Risk Management
- Review, negotiate, and finalize contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Identify and mitigate financial and legal risks effectively.
- Performance Monitoring
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs), evaluate trends, and implement improvements.
- Develop feedback loops to ensure the continuous sharing of information and best practices.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Experience: Minimum of 15+ years in construction or management services, with a focus on concrete operations, including significant field experience to ensure practical knowledge and hands-on expertise.
- Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge: In-depth familiarity with the Texas market and established relationships with developers, designers, and subcontractors.
- Education: Degree in construction management or a related field is preferred but not required.

Working Conditions
- Combination of office-based and on-site work.
- Frequent travel to job sites to monitor project progress and address challenges.
- Ability to sit, stand, and perform fine motor skills for extended periods.

Schedule:
- Full Time - Overtime on Key Projects
- Monday to Friday, some Saturdays
- Overtime during the busy season

- Primary in TX and ND based on seasonal work
