Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Operations Analyst-Project Management Office.
In this role, the successful candidate The Senior Operations Analyst Project Management Office will support analyses summary reports and general project management to move forward the goals of NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn and promote the vision and priorities of the health system Reporting to the Manager of Hospital Operations and Analytics he/she/they will complete assignments according to the defined scope and objectives of the project and collaborate with multi disciplinary team members to shepherd initiatives from identification to implementation on or ahead of schedule This role is pivotal in meeting our most complex challenges and provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast changing environment
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs ad hoc quantitative and qualitative analyses e g operational clinical financial market to inform leadership decisions Ability to develop analytical structure on own that address questions from hospital leadership
- Anticipates project needs and ability to balance competing priorities across multiple workstreams Provide skill training in and awareness of analytical tools/methodologies to management Effectively communicate concepts and methodologies for purposes of understanding and replication for future projects
- Utilizes project management tools to develop project / business plans and manages to deadlines and results Serves as a trusted resource for project champions Provide support to move forward key project decisions Maintain awareness of latest data tools available internally and externally
- Synthesizes complex information in high quality deliverables for presentation to senior leadership Serve as resource to determine appropriate data sources to obtain information necessary to achieve department and/or organizational goals
- Provides administrative support for projects including facilitating meetings crafting agendas developing discussion materials identifying key decisions and tracking action items Increase participation and collaboration in group problem solving
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree in healthcare business administration or a related field. 2 years of progressive experience in an operational or strategic planning role. Exceptional detail orientation and organization skills. Written and oral communication skills applicable to a wide variety of audiences. Knowledge of project management tools methods and best practices. Experience with collecting analyzing and modeling data with ability to articulate findings. Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will also be knowledgeable in in Tableau Visio Access and Decision Support reporting programs Preferred candidates will also have: Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills; Ability to approach new problems and develop a systematic comprehensive solution Teams well with others but also able to work independently as needed Ability to manage change and ambiguity in a fast paced environment

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $79,698.00 - $100,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
