Senior Node.js Developer - Web3 - Bitcoin Devs Company

Overview

The Senior Backend Developer plays a crucial role in our organization, responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the server-side logic, as well as ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. This position is vital in driving the development of our core systems and will significantly impact the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

You will work on creating and maintaining scalable backend services that enable people to access web3 more securely and with a better user experience.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer working on production applications

Experience with Node.js back-end development (preferably Typescript)

Experience with, or understanding of: PostgreSQL

Experience working on agile projects in an Agile environment

Experience working with CI/CD tools

Experience working in a distributed, remote team environment.

Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Located in the Americas/able to work U.S. business hours

Bonus Points

Experience as a Team Lead or Tech Lead

Experience in Typescript and/or the NestJS framework

Experience with microservices architectures

Understanding of blockchain technology, especially Ethereum
