The Sr. Network Engineer provides support and implements the enterprise-wide network. This position delineates design, installs and operates the LAN/WAN infrastructure that supports all physical and logical links within the enterprise network. This support includes infrastructure builds for data centers, DR sites, trading desks, call centers and network-attached devices under the guidance of a Senior Network Architect.
Network engineers with experience in Cisco network products such as Cisco Nexus series equipment are encouraged to apply. Applicant should have the following experience and knowledge:

Network engineers with experience in Cisco network products such as Cisco Nexus series equipment are encouraged to apply. Applicant should have the following experience and knowledge:
- TCP/IP, Ethernet, LAN and WAN topologies, firewall configuration, Wi-Fi, WAP's, routers, switches, hubs, VPN's, IPsec, DHCP, DNS, WINS, and SNMP
- Experience with Cisco Nexus series hardware
- Understanding of / experience with security devices such as Cisco ASA and Palo Alto appliances
- Experience with Virtual port channeling and fabric path
- Layer 3 routing experience should include EIGRP and OSPF routing protocols
- Experience configuring, installing and supporting Layer 2 technologies like Cisco Fabric Path and vPC technologies a plus
- Understanding of / experience with VMware VXLAN a strong plus
- Maintaining and upgrading enterprise data, voice and video network equipment
- Supporting and operating the network infrastructure for corporate headquarters, branch offices, warehouses and distribution facilities, other satellite locations, a primary data center and a disaster recovery data center
- Provide and support a secure transfer of data to multiple locations via internal and external VPN networks
- Work with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on network implementation, optimization and ongoing management and support
