Senior Network Engineer - The Phoenix Group

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, planning, configuration, documentation, deployment, and top-level support of computing infrastructure technologies.
• Collaborate with the Network & Telephony Manager to establish and uphold documented standards for network and telephony technologies, ensuring compliance.
• Manage changes to the production network environment, partnering with vendors for updates.
• Resolve escalated incidents and engage in problem management efforts.
• Stay informed about industry trends and recommend improvements to the firm's technology.
• Assist in negotiating and recommending software and hardware purchasing agreements.
• Participate in or manage cross-functional team projects to implement new or updated technology.
• Provide cross-training to other IT staff on technology use and maintenance.
• Effectively manage medium to large projects, including drafting project charters.
• Help maintain a lab environment for development purposes.
• Exhibit professionalism and a positive attitude in interactions with internal teams, external clients, and vendors through various communication channels.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
• Palo Alto Security Engineer certification.
• 8+ years of experience in relevant technologies and business skills.
