We are pleased to announce the opening for a Senior Military Wargaming Engineer/Analyst, who will join our Engineering Services Division in Colorado Springs and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces. You will be part of a team known for developing the architecture that will define the future of Air and Missile Defense for the United States and its friends and allies, at home and abroad.
Heres what youll be doing:
Youll be planning, participating in, and analyzing wargaming exercises whose goal is to explore the missile defense environment in realistic conflict scenarios and produce recommendations about tactical, strategic, force structure and posture, concepts of operations, and technological and architectural options available to the United States and its allies. A background in military wargaming, either commercial or government, is essential, with design and development of wargames a significant plus. Previous participation in Red/Blue military architecture exercises, either on Red, Blue, or White (secretariat) teams is a major advantage in acquiring this position. Knowledge of missile defense or other strategic systems is also desired. Engineering or technical analytical background is required as the wargame will replicate technical systems and engagements, and technical measures of merit will be used to define and discriminate between architecture options.
Heres what youll need:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree with 20 years of professional experience. The degree must be in a technical field applicable to missile defense systems. For a candidate with a technical Master's Degree, 12 years of professional experience will suffice. You must possess or have the ability to obtain an active secret clearance. Lacking any one of these disqualifies you from this job.
Other qualifications we hope you bring to the table:
- Full-time professional experience in areas such as: military strategic systems acquisition, military systems research and engineering, or military strategic planning
- Proficiency in written and oral communication skills to independently develop technical white papers, briefings, etc., as required by the customer to communicate complex technical issues
- Teamwork-centered mentality, willingness to assist with solving complex problems
