The Position
As Senior Medical Director for the novel modalities team, you will be part of building, leading and managing a team highly skilled medical doctors and guiding them in their daily work as well as securing their personal and professional development. You will manage relationships with internal and external key collaborators, including Novo Nordisk affiliates. Additionally, ensure the medical deliveries for key development and life cycle management projects within our siRNA portfolio.
You will report to the Vice President of Medical and Science and become a member of the area's management team and collaborate closely with the other managers in the area. You will take an active part in developing the area as well as a lead role in various improvement projects, including process optimization.
Relationships
Reports to: VP, Medical & Science.
Work with the VP Medical/Scientific Development, Clinical Operations, Non-Clinical Research, Medical Writing, Program Management, CMC and Regulatory Affairs teams.
Will be interfacing with both internal and external stakeholders including KOLs and Principal Investigators.

Supervisory
Ensure that reporting personnel have individual development plans (IDP), with annual goals and measurements that are consistent with the priorities of the business, and that interim reviews are held so that their work is focused on those priorities, and they understand their level of accountability for results and the measurement process.
Ensure that the IDP forms include completed learning and aspiration plans and are in place for all reporting personnel to enable the achievement of goals and capability to assume increased levels of responsibility.
Manage the application and communication of all Novo Nordisk policies, procedures, and Novo Nordisk Way.
