Telework can be offered after initial training. On-site meetings will be required on a regular basis. In-person interviews will occur.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer for RESD, you will be responsible for the following:

• Supervise the preparing of schematic, preliminary, and working drawing phase plans for all types of mechanical and plumbing systems using Computer-Aided Drafting/Design (CADD) and Revit software.
• Plan and supervise the work of others
• Produce project documents suitable for estimating, bidding, and construction
• Ensure compliance with codes and industry standards
• Perform engineering computations to determine proper sizes and quantities of mechanical and plumbing systems
• Design mechanical and plumbing systems by analyze client requirements in order to develop plans of workable solutions
• Direct and conduct detailed inspections of mechanical installations by making on-site field visits statewide to define scope, clarify existing conditions, ensure compliance with codes, and verify client requirements are being met

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional Engineer license
• HVAC and plumbing systems experience
• Proficiency in utilizing AutoCAD to prepare construction documents
