Job Details
***ONSITE/Hybrid role***
Bring your expertise in Mechanical Engineering and Design to create and review HVAC system specifications, drawings, and submittals
- Design, analyze, and specify process piping systems, various equipment, HVAC systems, and plumbing systems.
- Define and implement design concepts, ensure technical accuracy of the work, and ensure overall quality of design documentation
- Prepare, review, and approve drawings produced by the Mechanical Engineering team.
- Apply vast knowledge of complex mechanical design and HVAC systems to develop new and improved techniques and procedures
- Provide consultation to site engineers and business partners
- Support development of project cost and schedule estimates.
- Coordinate closely with other technical disciplines in planning and executing work as an integrated team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 10-15 years of professional experience in commercial building projects
- 6 plus years of experience designing mechanical systems for the HVAC space ie. :heating, cooling, chilling, conditioning, controls, building automation and/or water distribution
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related area from an accredited institution
- Strong Mechanical design experience - ideally with an A/E and/or MEP engineering firm
