Senior Mechanical Engineer (PE) at Davron LLC

A leading MEP engineering firm in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer (PE) to drive growth and lead their mechanical engineering department! This role is ideal for a driven leader who thrives on working with a diverse range of projects—everything from commercial buildings and universities to healthcare facilities and sports venues. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Mechanical Engineer (PE) position include:

• Professional Engineer (PE) registration required, with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in a consulting engineering environment, proficient in HVAC and plumbing systems
• Expertise in performing heat gain calculations using Trane Trace, HAP, and Elite load calculation software
• Skilled in sizing and selecting HVAC equipment, ductwork, and piping systems, with ability to mentor others
• Experience in construction observation, reviewing submittals, and responding to RFIs
• Familiar with AutoCAD and Revit for creating mechanical system layouts
• Ability to meet project deadlines, perform psychrometric analyses, and conduct air balancing studies
• Knowledge of ASHRAE, Florida Energy Code, NFPA, and latest trends in mechanical utilities

Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
