About the Opportunity
We have an immediate need for a Senior Mechanical Engineer. In this visible role, you will be responsible for complete machine design, from concept to final analysis and review of our custom-engineered systems. This is an exceptional opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to our cutting-edge projects.
Here’s What You’ll Do
- As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will lead the complete machine design process, from initial concept development through detailed design, analysis, and final review.
- Create detailed machine assembly and component drawings using SolidWorks.
- Design and implement sophisticated motion control systems
- Ensure that equipment meets all functional specifications.
- Develop and implement cost-effective equipment modifications to enhance safety, reliability, and throughput.
- Collaborate with customers to achieve successful project outcomes and foster positive relationships.
- Develop project specifications, conduct testing and evaluate designs to guarantee reliable manufacturing and consistent performance in specified environments.
- Recommends modifications following prototype test results.
- Consistently considers implications of issues such as cost, safety and time.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
- 5 Years of hands-on Mechanical Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks 3D CAD design software
- Understanding of machine tools and manufacturing process.
- Experience with design of complex machines and/or linear motion systems.
- A creative mindset with the ability to identify areas for improvement and execute solutions.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to shifting priorities with ease.
- Occasional travel is required to client/customer sites.
