Mission Critical is an international practice for Burns & McDonnell that involves exciting, collaborative work across many different departments. Specific areas of responsibility include the following:Designing mechanical systems/equipment to provide for a useful and safe workplace.Advise clients regarding mechanical systems/requirements available to meet their needs and comply with safety codes.Monitor installation of designed equipment/systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety codes.Participate in developing the design criteria for air and water side of building mechanical systems.Reviews mechanical designs and specifications of equipment or systems being purchased or fabricated.\Developing concept studies and design.Enforces standards and practices.$140,000-$200,000 The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations.
The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.

and 7 years mechanical engineering experience.
EPC project experience preferred.
Required orBachelor Degree in Mechanical or related Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program and successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.

Required orMaster Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 6 years mechanical engineering experience.
EPC project experience preferred.
RequiredExpert knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures.
Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment design codes (ASME, ANSI, API, PIP, NACE).
Strong computer skills (e.g.
Microsoft Office Suite).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience with leading the discipline design for large projects and delegating work tasks to team members.
