Due to Growth:
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to spearhead major projects from cradle to grave and grow into a Lead Senior Mechanical Engineering Role within a short period of time. You will have High Speed Packaging Experience with a Proven Track Record of 5 to 7 years’ experience in the field.
Position Overview:
In this Role, you will lead major packaging projects from cradle to grave. Having superior high speed Conveyance and Packaging experience with 5 to 7 years’ experience, allows you to excel in this role. This is a highly visible role, working in a small team of professional engineers all skilled in high-speed packaging. MUST HAVE AUTOMATION EXPERIENCE.
Position Summary:
As Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be in the forefront of Packaging Innovation and Providing Solutions to achieve Company and Customer Goals. You will manage high speed automation conveyance and packaging projects utilizing your skill set and creating design solutions for projects. You will work with the engineering team, executive leadership and customers to meet company objectives in a timely, fast paced environment. This role requires: “High Speed Conveyance and Packaging Experience”.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Work with Inventor (Solid Works at a minimum, however, learn Inventor)
- Must Have: 5 to 7 Years, High Speed Packaging Experience from Concept through Project Completion and Installation.
- Champion lean manufacturing principles, driving the adoption of best practices to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration between departments to ensure seamless integration of engineering strategies.
- Conduct executive-level presentations, effectively communicating the progress, insights, and future directions of projects.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance processes, incorporating innovative solutions and state-of-the-art technologies.
- Identify opportunities for waste reduction and process optimization, implementing solutions that enhance productivity and product quality.
- Create detailed project plans, setting clear objectives, timelines, and resource requirements to ensure successful execution.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, integrating new methodologies and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. Will consider experience in High Speed Packaging with some level of college.
- 5-7 Years Experience in High-Speed Packaging Experience with a proven track record of success.
