Job Details:
We are seeking a highly skilled, dedicated, and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be involved in a wide range of construction projects. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex mechanical solutions for our construction projects. Our ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles and a passion for innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement mechanical systems for construction projects, ensuring that all designs meet the requirements of the project and comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Use advanced software such as AutoCAD, Trace 700, Revit, SolidWorks, etc., to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings of mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure that all mechanical systems are integrated seamlessly into the overall design of the project.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems, ensuring that all work is carried out to a high standard and in a timely manner.
- Conduct tests on mechanical systems to assess their functionality and efficiency, making adjustments or repairs as necessary.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on all aspects of mechanical engineering, including HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Keep up to date with the latest developments and innovations in the field of mechanical engineering and incorporate these into your work where appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using advanced engineering software, including AutoCAD, Trace 700, Revit, and SolidWorks.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices, including HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical colleagues and clients.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.
