Multi disciplined engineering design firm, looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer - this is a new role due to growth and new projects, this person will sit out of Irvine, CA with a hybrid schedule and little to no travel. Pay is extremely flexible for the right person.

Job Details
The role involves independently undertaking various assignments that require applying standard design engineering techniques for small projects or selected segments of larger projects. The primary responsibility is to design and engineer Plumbing, Piping, HVAC, and Fire Protection systems to ensure safe, reliable, and energy-efficient operation. This entails:
- Developing technical specifications for review and approval.
- Selecting appropriate equipment to meet project scope requirements.
- Evaluating vendor bids and drawings for compliance with specifications and project needs.
- Reviewing and approving design drawings from other employees or offices for assigned project segments.
- Maintaining compliance with applicable building codes and industry standards.
- Conducting thorough quality checks and seeking necessary approvals.
- Coordinating with field personnel and contractors to resolve issues arising during construction.
- Frequently inspecting construction sites to ensure adherence to engineering drawings and specifications.
Requirements:
- 4 year Mechanical Engineering Degree
- 8+ years in building design mechanical engineering (ideally 15+)
- Professional Engineering license is highly preferred
- Revit proficient
