Senior Mechanical Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a direct hire position in Akron, OH. The role offers a competitive base salary ranging starting from $95K, commensurate with experience in areas such as piping flexibility studies, process equipment specifications, pumps, and pressure vessels.

Responsibilities:

• Design and engineer mechanical equipment, including pumps, pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and material handling systems.
• Conduct pipe stress analysis and design pipe supports.
• Serve as Lead Engineer on projects, coordinating with other engineering disciplines and clients.
• Perform occasional field work as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of ten years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in piping flexibility studies and process equipment specifications, with familiarity in Caesar II software.
• Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.
• Willingness to undergo background checks, including employment history, criminal records, and education verification.
• Must pass a post-offer drug test.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility for domestic overnight travel as needed.

Preferred:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
