We are a family-oriented Midwest and East coast-based company, with locations in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. As a result of our growth, we have a need for a Mechanical Design Engineer.
The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for designing products from inception through production both in new design and in existing product redesign.

What You Get To Do

· Develops 3D models of packaged fluid process systems.
· Creates, coordinates and monitors all aspects of production, fabrication and product design.
· Performs engineering assignments related to the design and analysis of packaged fluid process systems.
· Reviews customer specifications, drawings and other applicable documents to determine requirements and/or feasibility of fluid process.
· Creates and maintains all drawing files relating to the approval, sales, fabrication and documentation of a packaged system.
· Maintains and manages all engineering software related to the design and fabrication of fluid process systems.
· May perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:What We Need From You
· Associate's degree in mechanical design technology or related field
· Two to five years related experience and/or training preferred but not required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Ability to effectively perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
· Experience in the fluid process industry preferred.
· Application knowledge of pumps, valves, tanks and instrumentation.
· Experience utilizing Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Vault and Microsoft office products.
· Ability to read and interpret complex P&ID drawings and create 3D models utilizing equipment and engineering knowledge.
· Ability to create fabrication drawings for tanks, weldments and piping utilizing fabrication knowledge and related codes.
· Ability to work closely with team members and assume various roles to efficiently and cost effectively complete projects on time and within budget.
