Recruitics is seeking a talented Senior Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in managing various aspects of our marketing operations and overseeing the work of our Associate Content Manager / Marketing Associate.
Key Responsibilities:
Presentation and Video Development: You will transform text outlines into slide outlines for presentations and perform initial layout and formatting. You will also be responsible for creating and editing videos for the team, including shortform social posts, and longform recordings of webinars and other partner events. Occasionally, you will support our Graphic Designer in sourcing and developing customized images for various marketing channels (using Canva and Photoshop).
Managing Partnerships and Events: You will collaborate with partner points of contact to develop content and provide necessary support for upcoming events. You will also update virtual booth information for conference sponsorships and ensure that our presence at industry events accurately reflects our brand and offerings.
Overseeing Content Creation: You will provide constructive feedback on content outlines and offer content direction and ideas to enhance the quality and relevance of our blogs, guides, reports, and other industry-related content. Occasionally, you will perform copyediting and proofreading of blog drafts and support the development of content by ghostwriting.
Supporting HubSpot: You will occasionally support our Marketing Operations Manager with backend admin duties related to maintaining HubSpot, such as workflow building/editing, contact tagging, campaign creation, and QA'ing automated emails. Knowledge of how to pull high-level reporting to monitor content performance and make recommendations is of primary importance. Additionally, you will be responsible for building, designing, and managing landing pages and website pages in HubSpot.
Miscellaneous Tasks: You will be responsible for various miscellaneous tasks, including helping with budget management, vendor management, and facilitating ad management. In addition to serving as the centerpiece of seamless operation of work within the Corporate Marketing Team, your role will also involve working alongside the VP of Marketing to provide guidance to interdepartmental team members seeking help.
Key requirements include…
Experience: A degree in a related field with a minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing (or no degree with a total of 10 years in Marketing), with a focus on presentation development, video creation/editing, and content creation, is required. Previous managerial experience is preferred.
Skills: Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva and Photoshop. Proficiency in presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides). Experience with video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is a plus.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices, particularly in the areas of content marketing, event management, and partnership development. Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM/marketing automation platforms is required.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback on content and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Organization: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives.
Initiative: Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward independently when needed.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and pivot quickly in response to new opportunities or challenges.
Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, with a willingness to pitch in and help out wherever needed to support the team's overall success.
Passion: Genuine passion for marketing and making an impact, with a desire to continuously learn and grow in the field.
Compensation:
- $68,000 - $90,000 base salary, based on experience
- Eligible for annual bonus opportunity
