Senior Marketing Communications Coordinator
Location: Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model (virtual and in-office) with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection. This includes remote work and 1-2 days in office per week.
The Senior Marketing Communications Coordinator is tasked with guiding and project managing moderately complex Medicaid operational communication projects from start to finish. This role is a combination of marketing project management and writing. This role focuses on member retention, engagement, and satisfaction by ensuring effective communication workflows.
How You Will Make an Impact
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to
+ Leading and managing projects through all phases: planning, research, writing/editing, proofreading, reviews, production, and archival. Ensure timely, accurate, compliant, and effective communication delivery.
+ Acting as the primary interface for clients, collaborating with health plan/corporate business partners and subject matter experts.
+ Evaluating requests and proposing communication solutions tailored to project needs.
+ Organizing and facilitating project meetings with business partners to ensure alignment and progress.
+ Overseeing workflow processes as the project manager, ensuring consistency and standardization across all materials.
+ Coordinating review processes and renegotiating terms/deadlines to meet service level agreements and required timing.
+ Working with team members to develop production schedules, allocate resources, request source files, estimate effort levels, and manage the production timeline.
+ Ensuring that all communications adhere to state/market requirements; internal and external business, regulatory, privacy, and legal standards; corporate brand standards and approval processes.
+ Identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies, supporting business initiatives such as standardization, automation, and transitioning to paperless operations.
+ Researching, editing, and reviewing content for both printed materials (letters, forms, direct mail) and digital materials (website copy, talking points, email communications).
+ Utilizing various organizational systems (Workfront, SNOW/RFRF, and data configuration systems) to ensure the seamless completion of projects.
Minimum Requirements
+ Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Health or managed care experience preferred.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences
+ Strong skills in managing a high volume of time-sensitive projects, organization, and coordination.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PPT).
+ Keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, compliant materials.
+ Proven experience in leading and managing communication projects, preferably within the healthcare or government health (Medicare/Medicaid) sector.
+ Experience with project management tools and systems (Workfront, EService SNOW).
