Job Summary:
The Marketing & Brand (M&B) division is hiring a Content Strategist who will focus on three key areas: Content Strategy & Platform Management, Regional Content Marketing, and Social Media Strategy & Activation. Working together with the team, this position will play a key role in content strategy across different channels. As a part of our global team, this customer-focused, innovative thinker will also work together with corporate and Business Unit marketing teams to ensure strategic alignment and coordination for Brand amplification opportunities. What You Will Do:
+ Lead and manage a portfolio of projects and initiatives that shape the future of brand content connected to cat.com, editorial/blog content, social media, and more.
+ Establish and manage a global framework for formulating content strategies and tactical plans, as well as developing and publishing content. This framework should consider regionalization, cross-channel alignment, and how to gather input from multiple stakeholders.
+ Guide team on mar-tech capabilities and content platform opportunities as available within Caterpillar being mindful of new and exciting options in the market.
+ Develop marketing communication plans for both internal and external audiences, sharing relevant brand content effectively.
+ Regularly utilize global metrics to drive actionable insights and recommend enhancements to content strategies. Engage in ongoing testing and optimization to continually refine and advance.
+ Assist with content creation, reviews and approvals making sure all materials agnostic of channel fit with the brand voice and strategy.
+ Support campaign creative asset development including messaging, creative look and feel, approvals, BU connection, dealer kit assets, and translations.
+ Manage key stakeholder relationships including internal Caterpillar, dealers, and agency suppliers.
+ Evolve and expand our content marketing strategies by identifying new opportunities and tactics beyond current efforts, researching emerging global trends, and participating in advisory groups
+ Develop and communicate a content customer experience strategy and vision which guides the efforts of all M&B content and social media efforts, aligns with enterprise social vision, and compliments other social marketing efforts.

Promotion and Marketing Communications: Knowledge of different promotional and marketing communication techniques; ability to use different marketing channels and tools in combination to focus on how a business communicates a message to the market.
Considerations For Top Candidates:
+ Minimum of 6-8 years in roles leading/managing marketing, content and social media efforts.
+ Roles which involve leading or managing CX/UX strategy efforts, digital marketing strategies, communication and content strategies, website development, email marketing, marketing automation, and/or digital analytics.
+ Experience with social media marketing including channel strategy, engagement, and content optimization.
+ Experience working with a global, matrixed organization.
+ Experience developing and managing programs, leading cross-functional teams, and working across internal and external business partners.
+ Demonstrated experience leading, deploying and enhancing successful customer-facing websites or comparable digital channels.
+ Experience developing and delivering persuasive presentations, recommendations, proposals and business cases that inspire action.
+ General understanding of the technical aspects of digital marketing channels (websites, social, paid media, email marketing).
