We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army's Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold tilt-rotor. This position is onsite in Fort Worth.
Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) Build Team Sr. Manufacturing Process Analyst What you'll be doing as a Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) Build Team Sr. Manufacturing Process Analyst
Oversee all Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) and Production build functions to include Manufacturing Producibility support to the Engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT) and Team Valor.The
Sr. Manufacturing Process Analystwill work closely with the Supply Chain organization by providing programmatic support to supplier technical management. Responsibilities include managing planning and leading the integrated build project for the Bell FLRAA Valor.
Position Responsibilities:
Part of the FLRAA build team managing fabrication, scheduling, planning, and installation processes for aircraft assembly.Supporting supply chain and organizing part delivery sequenceAble to effectively identify, report and resolve potential safety and quality hazards/risks.Able to develop scope of work, resource estimates, progress metrics, and communication cadence for overall project management to meet mission critical objectives.Able to perform producibility analysis and manufacturing trade studies to determine cost effective solutions to complex manufacturing technical objectives.Works through a disciplined approach in initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing tasks and projects to achieve specific goals to specific success criteria.Work and deliverables reviewed and checked through team leadership, Project/Program management, and Functional management to adequately meet objectivesMentors and shares manufacturing technology with teammates and colleagues.Knowledge of Industry Manufacturing Execution Systems - process specifications, CAD/CAM; production planning, material requirements scheduling, and material kitting and handling.
+ Some travel during execution of build activities may be required.
Qualifications
Skills You Bring To this Role
+ Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
+ Good oral and written communication skills
+ Knowledge of machined part fabrication, tool index plans, GD&T, CATIA V5 or V6, or 3DX and tool design/application concepts is required, understanding of composite part fabrication a plus.
+ Experience with aircraft airframe assembly is preferred
+ Strong working knowledge of Bell new product development life cycles and prototype production methodologies.
+ Working knowledge of Bell Engineering Workbook and Electronic Workbook
+ Proficiency in MS Office tools of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio
+ Experience working with covered labor force preferred What you need to be successful
We are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to innovate.Bachelor's degree or related manufacturing industry experience requiredAt least 2 years in aerospace manufacturing or related manufacturing industry experienceAt least 2 years of airframe assembly experienceAdvanced degrees will be considered as additional experience.
