Senior Manufacturing Engineer

DIRECT REPORTING: Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager
As the Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you'll collaborate closely with the Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager on multifaceted projects, contributing to the design and enhancement of manufacturing processes. Your role involves driving process improvements, refining tooling, crafting manufacturing instructions, and expertly tackling problem-solving scenarios.
You Will:
- Ensure timely and cost-effective completion of assigned tasks within budgetary constraints.
- Contribute to defining manufacturing/engineering approaches and scheduling work.
- Support the design, modification, and evaluation of manufacturing operations.
- Analyze data, prepare technical reports, and recommend methods for product/process enhancements.
- Provide technical support on the production floor, aiding in assembly, interpreting drawings, and addressing manufacturing issues.
- Continuously improve manufacturing methods and systems, optimizing product performance while reducing costs.
- Support new product development, ensuring ease of manufacturing and delivering quality, cost-effective products.
- Uphold and implement the quality policy and system across all organizational levels.
- Collaborate on equipment design with suppliers and specify manufacturing operation requirements.
- Develop plans for process validation and equipment qualification, applying six sigma methodologies where applicable.
- Perform other related duties as necessary.
You Have:
Knowledge & Abilities
- Proficiency in CAD and GD&T.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical assemblies.
- Technical writing skills for work instructions and processes.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and communicate effectively.
- Proficient in MS Office, CAD, LabVIEW, and/or statistics software.
- Knowledgeable in lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies.
- Understanding of materials flow and its connection to Design, Supply Chain, and manufacturing.
- Strong project management skills with a results-oriented approach.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Creativity and adaptability to face challenges.
- Willingness to learn and drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Cross-functional and organizational leadership capabilities.
Education & Experience
- Preferred: BS in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Thermal) or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Experience in designing manufacturing aids and tooling.
PAY RANGE: $79K-$90K annually. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
