Job DescriptionAs the Senior Manager of Visa.com Project Management, you will help support the creation and execution of global content on Visa.com. In this capacity, you will work with internal Visa groups who own global content and their agencies, regional teams who oversee local Visa.com websites, our own internal creative resources within the Global Visa.com team and our digital agencies. You will be responsible for leading the intake process to help our partners understand our process, educating business partners on the Global Visa.com process, creating and updating project requests, facilitating communication and reviews for the creative process, and managing work through the authoring and publishing process.
As a key member of the global Visa.com Operations team, the selected candidate will partner closely with members of the Digital Experience & Capabilities (DXC) team including User Experience, Creative, Web Product Management, Web Development, and Web Analytics/Optimization.
This position will report into the Senior Director of Visa.com Operations.
Responsibilities
Process Development & Management
- Serve as custodian of existing process to manage content publishing for Visa.com and design new processes to improve efficiency
- Assist business partners in understanding and following the process for publishing content onto Visa.com
- Help business partners identify content requirements and complete project intake briefs
- Provide guidance to business partners on creative resourcing for their projects
Project Management
- Communicate and follow up with business partners throughout the lifecycle of a project
- Schedule projects according to resource availability and project priority
- Coordinate training, requests and reviews with agencies and internal groups
- Pre-flight work prior to authoring to ensure copy decks and assets meet governance requirements
Content Publishing Support
- Help business partners understand requirements for the Visa.com CMS (Adobe Experience Manager)
- Work with the authoring team to test out specific content and component configurations, as needed
- Work with the internal Visa.com authoring team to ensure quality content and experiences are crafted
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
- 5-7 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, 3-5 years of work experience with prior work experience in Digital Project Management.
- Experience working with digital creative agencies and web production teams
- Desire to organize, develop and improve processes
- Prior digital agency experience desired
- Ability to juggle competing project timelines and balance resourcing
- Experience working within highly matrixed organizations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to see the big picture as well as understand the details
- Creative problem-solving
- Advanced level of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and project management tools, e.g., Wrike.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Extremely organized with quick follow through and a bias towards action.
- Strong working relationships with and management of external agency partners.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 127,400.00 to 165,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
