We have an opportunity for a Senior Manager to join our growing Transaction Services team! We're looking for someone who has an advanced understanding of deal strategy and someone who wants to maintain strategic relationships with our clients. Commitments:
- Lead the execution of comprehensive tax analysis and due diligence for M&A transactions focusing on state and local income tax, sales and use tax, employment tax and real/personal property tax.
- Develop and implement tax-efficient structures and strategies.
- Advise clients on tax implications related to deal structures, financing, and post-acquisition integration.
- Prepare tax models showing after-tax cash proceeds for sellers and impacts to buyers for various structuring options.
- Perform attribute analysis including E&P studies, stock basis studies, Section 382 analyses, etc.
- Analyze the tax treatment of transaction costs incurred by clients.
- Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver holistic solutions to clients.
- Mentor and train junior team members to enhance their tax expertise.
- Assist with managing multiple clients and engagements including managing client expectations, ensuring client satisfaction, meeting deadlines, and leading change efforts effectively.
Required:
- CPA or JD required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in M&A tax consulting within a public accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and international tax laws.
- Proven experience in tax due diligence, structuring, and compliance.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with extensive background in tax research.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities.
- Initiative to learn, ask questions, operate in a fast-paced environment, challenge the status quo, develop strong relationships internally, and flexibility are required and keys to success.

Estimated Salary Range: $85,000 - $210,000*
*Salaries offered to candidates are determined based on factors such as candidate's relevant skillset, experience, licensure, and certifications, as well as job responsibilities, geography, market considerations, and organizational needs.
