JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Manager Talent Acquisition and Development is responsible for ensuring that Adient Aerospace attracts, retains, and develops top-tier talent. Reporting to the VP of HR, this global role collaborates with the business to design innovative talent acquisition strategies to support the growth of our company. This global position assesses developmental needs, drives creative training initiatives to educate, enhances performance, and ensures governmental compliance.

Talent Acquisition
- Partner with business leaders to understand staffing needs and design comprehensive recruitment strategies that attract high-caliber candidates.
- Lead the full-cycle recruitment process, ensuring a seamless, positive candidate experience from sourcing to onboarding.
- Oversee the summer internship and apprentice programs, ensuring they provided a meaningful and valuable experience for emerging talent.
- Use data-driven insights to continuously refine and optimize recruitment strategies to align with organizational goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with universities, professional organizations, and other talent sources to ensure a diverse and robust talent pipeline.
- Leverage digital platforms, social media, and advanced recruitment tools to enhance sourcing and promote diversity and inclusion in hiring practices.
- Lead development of ATS tools, drive process improvement and efficiencies.
- Track and report on key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality, and adjust strategies as needed to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Talent Development
- Design, develop, and deliver both in-person and virtual training programs for employees at all levels, focusing on skills development, leadership, and compliance.
- Manage the company’s LMS, ensuring employees have access to required training materials and resources.
- Work with managers and employees to identify skill gaps and create personalized development plans that align with both employee career goals and company objectives.
- Develop and implement leadership training programs to foster the growth of high-potential employees and build a strong internal talent pool for future leadership roles.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, surveys, and performance metrics, and continuously enhance content and delivery methods to improve engagement and impact.
- Ensure training programs are governmental and OEM compliant.
Management
- Manage talent acquisition efforts while fostering employee development to enhance performance, engagement, and career progression. Ensure a seamless process of sourcing, caring through to onboarding and training.
- Partner with department managers and leadership teams to understand talent needs and develop customized recruitment and training strategies.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive company culture by ensuring that training initiatives align with overall employee engagement and retention efforts.
- Ensure that all recruitment and training activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in talent acquisition and development to ensure Adient Aerospace remains at the forefront of HR innovation.
- Manage or direct a global Talent Acquisition and Training and Development team, providing direction and identifying development and engagement opportunities that support and encourage high performance.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years in talent acquisition and/or employee training and development.
Skills:
- Proven experience in recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring processes.
- Strong knowledge of training needs analysis, curriculum development, and adult learning principles.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), social media platforms and other sourcing tools.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and other training tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to improve recruitment and training effectiveness.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience with HR systems such as HRIS, ATS, Background/Drug Screen Checking, LMS, and QMS
- HRIS - ADP Workforce Now experience preferred
- LMS - Litmos experience preferred
- ATS - Clear Company experience preferred
- Recruiting Platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed)
- UniPoint (QMS)
- Knowledge of workforce planning and talent management best practices.
- Familiarity with Federal, State, and local labor laws (Germany)
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on aligning talent strategies with business objectives.
- Data-driven approach to decision-making, continuously improving recruitment and talent development processes.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Proven ability to create and deliver engaging training programs to diverse audiences.
- High emotional intelligence, with the ability to engage, motivate, and retain talent at all levels.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSE
- Relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, or talent acquisition/training certifications) are a plus.

Leadership Responsibility:

LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Ability to speak German conversationally is a plus.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Adient Aerospace offers competitive wages and benefits to recognize employees for their work. The base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
Salary Range Transparency: $120,000 - $160,000 annually
