About the Job
Minimum qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience across domains such as MCU/SoC architecture, RF connectivities, power systems, sensors, display, acoustic, haptic, system integration or systems engineering.
- Experience with designing and delivering multi-disciplinary features, including ones that are user-facing, have both hardware and software integration, and require balancing between Performance, Latency, and Power in MCU, SoC, Memory, RF, or other sub-systems.
Preferred qualifications:
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience leading or executing systems engineering, hardware architecture, or launching consumer electronic products.
- Experience leading or developing hardware platforms or system features for consumer wearable systems.
- Experience in developing performance, latency or power modeling tools.
- Experience managing teams and mentoring experienced engineers.
- Experience with highly-effective collaboration with cross-functional leadership, with excellent communication, project management, planning and organizational skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$305,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a talented team of engineers in the development, engineering and validation of customer features in alignment with product line’s strategic goals.
- Collaborate with Product Management and cross-functional leaders to define and align on requirements and theory of operation by translating complex use cases into actionable engineering goals.
- Build partnerships internally and with external vendors to plan out strategic hardware roadmap that enables the best and innovative experiences.
- Develop performance, latency and power modeling tools and processes to ensure data driven decisions based on engineering accuracy.
- Foster a culture of driving what matters for the users by being accountable, including validation strategy, proactively reviewing and identifying emerging technologies and methodologies that can add values to the team and products.
