Job Summary:
The ideal candidate is experienced in SAP ABAP programming preferably
and has led IT projects involving SAP applications by leveraging their
ABAP skills to develop solutions.
Provides technical expertise usually as a Senior member of a project
team, in the analysis, design and development of business applications.
Applies broad SAP Development knowledge of various technical functions
to develop requirements and specifications for new and existing
application systems; accurately anticipates organizational impact,
understands the procedures and expected system performance associated
with the introduction of new technologies; and seeks ways to collaborate
with other IS colleagues to facilitate systems integration and
transitions. Oversees technical development or enhancement projects from
concept to implementation using solutions in a multi-platform
environment, including object- oriented applications, languages and
third party tools, client server based tools and comparable
applications. Has responsibility for all technical phases of a project
and regularly audits the progress of less experienced team members.
Leads team members by providing direction on
Principal Responsibilities:
- Lead SAP S/4HANA Development Senior Manager will support the
implementation of SAP S/4 HANA. Duties include but may not be
limited to:
- Support the creation of functional specification documentation
- Creation of technical specifications and other development design
documentation
- Development of reports, interfaces, conversion programs,
enhancements, forms, and workflows using agile development best
practices
- Develop, test, debug, and implement SAP Fiori applications by
working closely with functional and testing teams
- Partner with functional team to understand business requirements and
prepare technical design specifications for applications of low to
moderate complexity
- Provide advanced problem-solving and technical support, including
on-call support for SAP Fiori Applications
- Follow established patterns, framework and procedures to develop and
enhance Fiori Applications
- Assist other SAP ABAP Developers as needed in relation to UI5 and
Fiori
- Contribute ideas to improve utilization of SAP technologies and
programing currently being used
- Testing and documentation of development objects
- Support during integration and user acceptance testing activities
and resolution of issues and bugs identified during testing
- Support during testing, cutover, Go live, Hyper care post
implementation of the project

- Manages direct managers and/or highly skilled specialists who
exercise significant latitude and independence. Often oversees one
or more departments or related teams.
- Establishes operating policies and procedures that affect
departments and direct teams. Interprets enterprise-wi e policies
and procedures. Develops budgets, schedules and performance
standards for one or more departments. Responsible for resources and
policy formation in area of responsibility.
- Assignments are defined in the form of long-term objectives.
Decisions are guided by resource availability, functional objectives
and independent judgment.
- Collaborates frequently with internal and/or external management.
Leads meetings and briefings for internal and/or external
representatives. Often coordinates efforts between functional areas
and/or members of an extended assignment/project team.
- Decisions likely have extended impact on the outcomes of multiple
departments or teams. Erroneous decisions or recommendations will
likely result in critical delays and/or modifications to projects
and/or operations; causing substantial expenditure of additional
time, people and/or financial resources, and jeopardize future
business activity.
Work Experience:
- Typically 8+ years including 3+ years of management experience
Education and Certification(s):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable
knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
