Position: Senior Manager of Structural Engineering
Location: Central Florida (1-Hour From Orlando)
Industry: Aerospace / Aviation / Defense

Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for all market sectors
- You will perform both structural design and analysis calculations for structural steel, concrete, masonry, timber, aluminum, and light-gauge steel
- You will interact with architects, engineers, contractors, fabricators, owners, and clients
- You will provide direct onsite engineering assessments and field observations
- You will resolve design and construction conflicts through construction administration
- You will manage and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
Qualifications and Education:
- Must-Have a Bachelors Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Green Card Holder ITAR Required.
- Must Have 10 to 15 years of professional experience as an engineer with a focus on the design of structural infrastructure.
- Must have a Professional Engineering (PE) license in the State of Florida.
- Knowledge of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) steel manual, American Concrete Institute (ACI) code 318, American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) 7, and International Building Code (IBC)
- Experience with Revit and AutoCAD
- Experience with RAM Elements, STAAD Pro, RISA-3D, Etabs, or similar analysis software
- Advanced Structural Engineering: FEA, post-tensioning, progressive collapse, blast analysis/design
- Knowledge of processes governing permitting agencies such as building departments and/or environmental agencies
- Understanding of other disciplines such as architecture, site civil, mechanical, electrical, piping, fire protection, geotechnical, surveying, and environmental
- Experience with project management of major construction projects including estimating, cost control, schedule, and contractor management
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to pass Air Force background check
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
