Senior Manager of Product & Merchandising - Weezie

Weezie Towels is a luxury bath brand dedicated to creating high-quality, thoughtfully designed products that elevate everyday routines. We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Product & Merchandising to join our growing team. This person will play an integral role in defining and owning our physical product roadmap, quarterbacking all activities from product inception to launch. In addition to owning new product merchandising and planning, this leader will oversee Product Development, Design and Vendor Management.

With impeccable taste and a passion for beautifully crafted products, the right person balances high Brand standards with the ability to deliver results. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Merchandising & Business Development and will manage a Senior Merchandise Planner and Product Development Associate.

What You’ll Do

Strategic Merchandising & Financial Planning:

• Own and maintain top-down financial planning and Open-to-Buy (OTB) creation, with accountability for Gross Margin, Initial Markup, Allowances, and Inventory Turns.
• Partner with Senior Merchandise Planner to review and refine seasonal merchandise strategies across all categories. Distill key details—including breadth, depth, price points, revenue forecasts, margin targets, and channel segmentation— for financial approval.

Product Development & Go-to-Market Execution:

• Direct product design and development teams through their process of CAD creation, factory briefs, prototypes and final submits for approval, from concept to production all while adhering to the go-to-market schedule 
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with digital, operations, and marketing teams to ensure seamless go-to-market activities.

Vendor Management:

• Build relationships with key Suppliers for costing and lead time negotiations.
• Monitor vendor compliance and performance to optimize strategic sourcing relationships.
• Identify and vet potential new vendors to expand the sourcing network as new categories take shape.
• Partner with Operations to implement upstream quality assurance (QA) processes.
• Responsible for scoping labeling, testing and compliance requirements for new product categories and markets. 

Who You Are

• Experienced: You bring 8 years of experience in merchandising, product development, and/or planning and have managed 2 direct reports.
• Analytical: Advanced knowledge of demand forecasting, supply chain planning, and financial modeling. Proficient in Excel (knowledge of Toolio, Tableau and Shopify is a plus).
• Brand-Aligned: You have a passion for quality product design, an eye for beautiful aesthetics, and an appreciation for the Weezie brand. 
• Critical Thinker: Meticulous attention to detail, with a proactive and strategic approach to problem-solving and organization.
• Collaborative: Strong communicator and people manager.
• Versatile: Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and multiple stakeholders.
• Visionary & Pragmatic: You excel at balancing the creative and analytical sides of merchandising, combining a strong aesthetic sensibility with the ability to make data-backed decisions.
