General Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing operations of a diverse workforce encompassing production, testing, calibration, service returns, and manufacturing engineering. Direct all aspects of operations including budget preparation, management, and ensuring profitability.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ensure department compliance with company quality standards and customer requirements.
- Review and manage budgets, schedules, and performance metrics to meet financial targets.
- Contribute to policy and strategic planning initiatives.
- Implement master schedule plans to achieve on-time delivery commitments.
- Forecast resource needs to maintain optimal staffing levels.
- Conduct long-range planning to optimize workflow and staffing.
- Coordinate production status reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Interface with customers and suppliers as needed.
- Collaborate across functions to streamline manufacturing processes.
- Oversee efficient operations across all departments.
- Provide effective leadership to inspire team performance and achieve organizational goals.
- Identify and develop talent to enhance team capabilities.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance profitability.
- Maintain regular presence at worksite; attend to assigned responsibilities excluding scheduled leave.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years management experience in manufacturing essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office and MRP/ERP software for production planning required.
- Familiarity with MIL Standards preferred.
Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
- Work primarily in a production environment.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, perform repetitive motions, and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Travel may be required.
