Senior Manager of Aircraft Maintenance Control - STS Technical Services

STS Technical Services is hiring a Senior Manager of Aircraft Maintenance Control in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will oversee staffing, budgeting, and key operational decisions within the Maintenance Control department, ensuring safety and seamless coordination across various departments. You’ll collaborate with Flight Dispatch, Line Maintenance, Engineering, and others to ensure all aircraft are maintained to the highest safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee SMS activities, including risk management and safety performance.
• Ensure seamless transitions between personnel and shifts in MCC operations.
• Manage daily maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and ensure that all audits are completed on time.
• Provide technical assistance to Line and Heavy Maintenance personnel.
• Ensure the accuracy and compliance of work packages and operational MEL/CDL/NEF processes.
• Act as the single-source contact for Maintenance Control senior management.
• Participate in strategic planning, long-term goal setting, and daily operational briefings.

Qualifications:

• FAA-certificated mechanic with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
• 5+ years of combined heavy and line maintenance and Maintenance Control experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory/management experience in a maintenance operations environment.
• Working knowledge of Airbus aircraft, with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access).
• FCC Radio license and a four-year degree are preferred.
