ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:
SUCCESSFUL SR MANAGER, MERCHANDISING CANDIDATES HAVE:
The Senior Merchandising Manager will lead the implementation of product merchandising for our eCommerce Paper business. You will bring an entrepreneurial spirit, creative problem-solving, and user-centric thinking to the TKWW eCommerce business. You will work alongside key business partners providing a creative & data-driven approach to decision-making, and will report directly to the Director of Merchandising.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute an assortment expansion strategy and new product development in partnership with Design and Product Development teams to reach business growth goals.
- Develop, execute, and optimize site merchandising strategies that drive conversion, enhance site navigability, and maximize member engagement.
- Manage the eCommerce merchandising team and provide direction and support to ensure team members are achieving their goals and objectives.
- Analyze product performance, site metrics and leverage category, consumer, and market insights to effectively drive business strategies.
- Bring strong industry knowledge and expertise while balancing strategic vision with tactical execution in a fast-moving environment.
- Constantly review and assess the competitive landscape to provide insights on product categories and white space opportunities.
- Assist in establishing core KPIs to measure success for merchandising strategy
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content and promotions that drive traffic and sales.
- Partner closely with the Build organization to ensure that website functionality is optimized for the user experience.
- Maintain a deep understanding of our customers and their needs, and use this knowledge to inform merchandising decisions.
SUCCESSFUL SR MANAGER, MERCHANDISING CANDIDATES HAVE:
- 3-5 years of people management experience
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce merchandising, with time spent leading Site Merchandising efforts
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to drive analysis into action.
- A highly organized, prepared, and thoughtful communicator.
- The ability to balance art and science to drive design innovation while maximizing revenue growth based on historical data and future trends.
- Experience building product strategies including curation, category, and product-driving improvements.
- Strong eye for design, color & trend.
- A desire to build business relationships across departments.
- Comfortability collaborating and communicating in a remote work environment.
