Delta Air Lines is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager of Solutions Integration and Engineering to lead a high-performing team within our Marketing Technology and Innovation organization. This role will be pivotal in integrating, engineering, and optimizing marketing technology solutions that drive Delta’s customer engagement and loyalty initiatives.
As a Senior Manager of Solutions Integration and Engineering, you will collaborate across multiple functions including Marketing, IT, Digital, and external partners to deliver seamless integrations, custom solutions, and continuous system enhancements. You’ll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that directly impact our business and our customers, with the support of a dynamic, collaborative team. This position will require a deep understanding of marketing technology platforms, software engineering, and integration methodologies, combined with strong leadership and project management skills.
As part of our Marketing Technology and Innovation leadership team, you will contribute to Delta’s mission by ensuring our marketing capabilities are seamlessly integrated and optimized to support data-driven marketing and enhanced customer interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, solution architects, and integration specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the integration of marketing technology platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud) with Delta’s existing systems, ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
- Partner with marketing and technology leadership to develop and execute a strategic roadmap for marketing technology integrations and custom engineering solutions that support Delta’s growth and innovation objectives.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Digital, IT, and external vendor teams to identify integration opportunities that align with Delta’s business goals and customer experience objectives.
- Lead the design and implementation of custom integrations and enhancements to marketing technology platforms, API solutions, and data pipelines, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to best practices.
- Drive the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with Delta’s strategic business goals.
- Collaborate with project managers to define project timelines, resources, and deliverables, and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay up to date with emerging marketing technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact on Delta.
- Participate in initiatives to evaluate the scalability, performance, and functionality of Delta’s marketing technology stack, driving innovation and continuous improvement.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in marketing technology, software engineering, or solutions integration, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team of technical professionals.
- Proven experience managing and delivering complex technology integration projects within a marketing or digital environment.
- Strong understanding of marketing technology platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud, etc) and their integration with enterprise systems, API development and integration, cloud platforms, and data integration tools.
- Deep understanding of data architecture, databases, and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Excellent project management skills, with experience managing multiple, large-scale projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
